LAAF-WI is a statewide organization and we strive to involve all members.
To that end, we have created five LAAF-WI Regional Representatives - people who will publicize and promote LAAF-WI and its social/educational mission in their region of the state.
Representatives will:
- Get to know and collaborate with local adoption agencies, other adoption groups, and the Post-Adoption Resource Center
- Solicit volunteers among LAAF members
- Organize and publicize local social and educational events
We decided to organize our Representatives around the five Post-Adoption Resource Centers (PARC) in the state.
This was done for the invaluable adoption programs these centers have to offer, and because establishing relationships with the PARC offices will important to increasing awareness of LAAF-WI.

Each PARC office contracts with the State of Wisconsin to provide locally:
- Pre-adoption information
- Recruitment
- Services for waiting children
- Post-adoption services
It is worth a visit to your local PARC office to avial yourself of their services, including:
- Lending libraries of printed, audio, and video resources for prospective, new, and experienced adoptive parents
- An extensive offering of classes, seminars, workshops, and conferences on the range of pre- and post-adoption topics
- Free brochures on a number of topics
- Resource packets for both domestic and international adoption
