Welcome to the site of the LAAF-WI, Inc. (Latin American Adoptive Families of Wisconsin, Incorporated).
Established on August 7, 2003 and goverened by an elected board of directors, we are a non-profit 501c (3) volunteer organization made up of parents that have adopted children from Latin American countries.
We are proud to serve over 475 families throughout the State of Wisconsin.
LAAF-WI member families represent over 550 (adopted and birth) children born in the Latin American countries of Guatemala, Paraguay, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Peru as well as USA, China, India, Korea, Marshall Islands, Romania, Russia and Vietnam.
Throughout our Web site you will find several ways to become involved in our organization.
We offer opportunities to educate families through the adoption process as well as after.
Cultural activities are planned throughout the year in all of our regions in Wisconsin.
We provide social opportunities for our children and families so that they may be connected to other children of their heritage.
We hope that you will take time and explore the many opportunities our organization can offer your family and we hope to see you at our events in the future.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about our organization that you haven’t been able to locate!
Sincerely,
Becca MacCudden

For those who
have already adopted or are considering adoption, we sponsor a list
serv, a quarterly newsletter, periodic gatherings, and playgroups
throughout the year, along with an annual picnic and Fiesta.
Join this group or sign in if you're already a member.

If you are
currently in the process of completing an adoption, you can also join
our Waiter's Group. This group was developed specifically for LAAF
member families in the adoption process, to share the joys and
frustrations of waiting for their adoption to be complete. It is a
great support system and wonderful opportunity to get to know a few
families at a time.
Join this group or sign in if you're already a member.
